What proportion of trans and non-binary participants worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security?

The graph shows that in total (n=2043), 54% of trans and non-binary participants worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security, while 17% are neutral and 30% don’t worry. The graph also shows that 75% of Indigenous trans and non-binary participants (n=160) worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security, while 13% are neutral and 12% don’t worry. 94% of Black (non-Indigenous) trans and non-binary participants (n=33) worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security, while 0% are neutral and 6% don’t worry. 65% of trans and non-binary people of colour (non-Indigenous and non-Black) (n = 179) worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security, while 14% are neutral and 20% don’t worry. 49% of White (non-Indigenous) trans and non-binary participants (n= 1670) worry about being harassed or stopped by police or security, while 18% are neutral and 33% don’t worry.
