Call to recontact participants
Are you a researcher with an idea for a project that could inform policy or practice for trans and non-binary people? Check out our call to recontact participants:
Trans PULSE Canada was designed so that participants had the option to consent to be recontacted by our team about opportunities to participate in future research. 1192 participants consented to recontact. This is an excellent opportunity to conduct additional qualitative or quantitative research with populations that may be under-represented in research.
As a team, we are committed to making sure that proposed recontact studies prioritize the involvement of trans and non-binary people in study design, administration, and knowledge translation. Applications for participant recontact will be reviewed by our majority-trans Steering Committee based on: potential benefit and lack of harm to communities involved, methodological appropriateness, capacity, and quality of the knowledge translation plan. Please note that we will never share the contact information of participants – all recontact will be done by our research team.
